Would you like to improve your English, whether for work, academic, travel or social reasons? Are you curious about those strange English idiomatic expressions and whether it will be 'raining cats and dogs' tomorrow, or are you 'at the end of your tether' with the more difficult verb tenses or perhaps those annoying prepositions but determined to 'get to grips' with them?

My name is Paul, and I'm a native English teacher. I provide private, personalised lessons which will help you develop your English skills to meet your own personal language goals. We can first have an initial discussion to talk about your English language needs, and the type of lessons you would like to have - such as relaxed, free-flowing conversation practice, focused discussions about topics that interest you, or more intensive exploration of English grammar, for example, or a combination of these.   

You can choose the duration of the lessons, typically they would be either one hour or one and a half hours.

At the moment, I am only able to give the lessons online rather than in person, and

through platforms such as Skype and Zoom, with WhatsApp video chat also being

an option.

I am very familiar with the typical difficulties that numerous nationalities can often

experience  when learning and communicating in English, particularly people from Spain,

Italy, Poland, Turkey, Japan, South Korea, and countries elsewhere across Eastern Europe

and Latin America. I, myself, enjoy learning languages (especially Spanish) and which means

I appreciate the challenges that are involved.

The prices of the lessons are 15 euros for one hour, or 20 euros for one and a half hours.

Are you intending to take an English language test? I particularly specialise in

preparing clients for Cambridge Assessment English exams at all levels, and for

the IELTS Academic and General Training exams. I have a large amount of exam

preparation material produced by Cambridge and IELTS – courses and practice

exams – which I provide for the lessons. This material can also be used for lessons

for those who are not wanting to take an exam.
